Made In SI

Highlighting Local Businesses and Community Leaders on Staten Island

Let’s Rally To Change To Perception of Our Borough!

It seems a certain “network” has a penchant for portraying Staten Island as a borough filled with Mob Wives, Mob Children and tanned adolescents who enjoy “fist pumping” on the weekends.  As Staten Islanders, we know that despite what mainstream media might push on their networks, we are so much more than that.  We are culturally diverse, an epicenter for big ideas and small business, and a community filled with leaders and non profit organizations that make an impact in our lives every day.  For that reason, The South Shore BID has launched it’s “Made In SI” Campaign.  A campaign designed to highlight our great businesses and amazing community leaders!

Made On Staten Island Campaign

Business Commercial

South Shore BID Member, Emerald Studios, has agreed to film, edit, and produce a high-end commercial for one lucky business within our District.  The winner will be selected based on number of votes received on our Facebook Page.

Community Leader

The South Shore BID knows that Staten Island is full of influential community leaders dedicated to making a boutough a better place.  That’s why, in addition to highlighting a business with a FREE video, we are also going to present one leader with a Made In SI Award at our next Annual Meeting in September.
